Born, raised and educated in China, with a further Master‘s degree from Germany, I have 25 years of professional experience, nearly 20 of which as a trainer and consultant. I have experienced almost every intercultural situation you can imagine. My expertise is focused on China, Taiwan, Singapore, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, East Asia, Southeast Asia and Asia. I speak and deliver training in Chinese, German and English.

I advise you on virtual communication and conflict resolution. I support you with team development and during the secondment process. I enable you to develop intercultural competence and international leadership skills.

Goals

Today, more than ever, we act internationally, are globally networked and influence each other interculturally. These situations enrich and broaden horizons, but at the same time can be challenging, confusing and complex. When you work with people from other cultural backgrounds, uncertainties, confusions, misunderstandings or even annoyances sometimes arise because your foreign partners think and act differently due to their culture. As an Example, German managers tend to perceive their Chinese project team members as passive and disinterested. European salespeople or buyers often do not know how to negotiate successfully with Asian partners with the tact required. The flow of information in an international project can often be stagnating and intransparent and it is usually challenging to motivate participants from other cultural backgrounds …

But this does not have to be the case! I support you in developing your intercultural competence and achieving your goals faster.

When I came to Germany for the first time in July 2018, Ms Rao conducted a preparation abroad training Germany for me, my wife and my two daughters.
