About me

As a trainer and consultant, I have been supporting multinational corporations and medium-sized companies across various industries in international business relations since 2003. I have gained a wealth of practical experience in international project work in both Asia and Europe.

I was born and raised in China. After my business studies, I worked for four years as a foreign trade merchant in the automotive industry in Beijing. I know the Chinese corporate culture with all its facets.

In 1996, I received a German scholarship and came to Germany. First I studied Economic Information Technology at the Technical University of Braunschweig, then I worked for three years as a controller and application computer scientist at a large German bank in Frankfurt am Main. This gave me the opportunity to get to know the German culture and its corporate business etiquette.

I became an intercultural trainer, because I found over the years that this is my absolute passion. I love deciphering cultural differences and building bridges between people from different cultural backgrounds. I believe that if we reduce misunderstandings and improve communication, we will make this world a better place to be. I help you to gain intercultural competence, to feel more confident and to achieve greater success with international cooperation. My expertise is finding a tailor-made and well-functioning solution for my clients.

I have published many articles in renowned journals in China and Germany. These include:

  • Articles in Chinese automotive magazines and newspapers such as “China Auto Market”, “China Auto Newspaper”, “Shanghai Auto Newspaper” as well as the well-known Chinese website www.sohu.com.
  • The monthly column “Mail from Shanghai” for the German trade journal “Automobil Produktion”, for which I was responsible as an author from 2005 to 2012.
